My hubby was given an old shed so we decided to turn it into a ferret playhouse They sleep in their hutch at night and play in here in the daytime..i think they like it! The outside of the playhouse The inside need to get/make some new toys Idea are grateful received! And the furbabies trying it out!

Awe! Looks like they are having fun! I wish I had a better climate here in St. Louis so I could let my babies live partially outdoors.
On a side note, what is that big blue-black thing on George's coat? Up by his shoulders.

On a side note, what is that big blue-black thing on George's coat? Up by his shoulders. Its purple spray which is an antibiotic spray as he had a sore patch and this stuff is brilliant its dried it out and its all almost gone

what do you have covering the floor?
I'm sure they enjoy having a new place to play in.

lovely shed!! have you thought of either A.. putting their hutch inside with the door open to allow 24/7 access.. or B. putting the hutch next to the shed and connecting via a cat flap or tube....
as for ideas... try cat climbing gyms... indian blankets strung tight for a second level/ big hammock
cattery style shelving and ramps going around the edges to make use of height .. or a quantity of Land drain ( 4 inch tubing with perferated holes in it) to coile around the edges at different heights for lots of climbing tunnelling fun...
the wood on the bottom looks like saw dust...?? i would hesitate with this and see if you can find Dust extracted woodchip that is used for horses with respitory problems.. the problem with saw dust and such things is inhalation.. its rather dusty and can cause respitory distress... also you'll find woodchip easier to clean up!
another option for the floor is to find a local carpet or DIY store that sells Linoleum.. and get an offcut the right size.. you'd need to nail it down tight in the corners but it makes easy shed clean up! and if you use the proper linoleum glue... and extra extra ammounts lol.. you can even use your garden hose to clean out ...
also i was looking at the picture and are you certain the mesh is suitable for the ferrets.. they look tiny compared to the wide spaced mesh?? might want to consider replacing it
