Hello! My name is Aesha and I'm a vet assistant from San Antonio Texas. I had been studying ferrets for 2 years before we (my bf and I) acquired our first ferrets (2 of them) 3 months ago, and we're hooked! My goal is to give them the best holistic care and diet, but it's been a rough start! I have many questions on natural feeding and care, so I joined this forum after reading almost every post for a week! I can't wait to go natural (although we couldn't do whole prey as much as we would like to!) I hope you won't mind the many questions I will have. Can't wait!

Welcome Aesha! Glad to have you on our forum! We do have quite a bit of reading material here don't we? Ferrets are addictive and offering them a natural diet offers you the chance to really see their true nature! Becoming involved with your ferret's diet gets you that much closer to them than anyone just shoving a bowl of kibble at them. Feeding naturally means you are taking an active roll in their good health! Good for you to take this route!
Being a vet tech puts you in a position to see how diet affects the animal's health. Hopefully with your success at a natural diet, you can influence others to take an ative roll in their pet's optimal health!
