I have a little ferret at work that needs everyones prayers this poor little boy this morning went into a really bad sezurie (how ever u spell it ) on me i rushed him to the back to my manager to where we watched him come out of it he was very warm to the touch so we got him cooled off his eyes were glazzed over he tryed to bite the u know what out of us and u cant blame him i am so worried about him we did find that 2 things so far could have caused it 1. low blood saugar 2. someone poisioned him cause we dont know what the cause was we put a hold on all ferret sales and no one can hold any of the other ones. my boss wanted me to bring him home but no go. do any of u have any thoughts on what might else have caused this? thanks

Seisures can have many causes. Reactions to vaccinations, endocrine system issues (pancreas, thyroid/parathyroid, etc), neurological issues, cancers, etc. and distemper, of course but this would typically be accompanied by other symptoms. So, it's just about impossible to determine cause without tetsts.
Ferret prayers for the little one- all fingers and paws are crossed here. -jennifer
