this might fall under general but i thought it was enriching for little beasty.
I took him to the races with me yesterday as my father was riding his motorcycle in the amature class and another of my friends was riding in the pro class.
He LOVED it. Was cute and bouncy and got lots of attention there was even another ferret there.
I did NOT realize how big beast is for his age until he met the petite 7 year old Ripley (named after the character in alien for her fearlessness) she was overweight and bottom heavy at 2 1/2 pounds hes uderweight at 3 months and 2 1/2 pounds and his head was twice the size of hers! i cannot WAIT to see how big he'll be when hes done growing.
Oh and when i was sitting right up close to the track to watch my father and Hyder race.. (separate races of cource) beast slept in my lap through both! (he had had a LOOONG play full day what with all the kids and interesting smells and the new ferret buddy) if more than 2 supermoto bikes went by he'd open his eyes then go rught back to sleep! I was so proud of him =) and he slept the whole drive home on my feet (lucky for cruise control) and then slept all night he got up when i got up today at noon (we didnt get home untill about one am) .
=) Im still worried about how skinny he is. but hes happy and healthy and the other ferret owner marveled at how soft his coat was compared to ripleys i gave her the site and told her what i feed him. she feeds riple 8 in 1 CANNED ferret food. =\ oh well ripley is happy though she does lose her fur her front half didnt have guard hairs and her back half didnt have any fur at all. and she didnt have near the muscle tone of beast.
She lost all of her fur once and it came back then she lost it again and its coming back in slowly but her owner doesnt know if she'll grow it back again. but her and beast had a nice time playing =)
