Put ads up EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pet stores, grocery stores, any business that will let you! Put flyers up on telephone posts.. And don't just stay within your neighborhood because they can get far quick and someone could have found him and taken him home. I also suggest you post on your local Craigslist.org about him missing.
I hope you find him.

Ferrets don't know how to come home, at least very rarely Check under things, in the garden, under your porch, under your neighbours porch. Does your baby come to a squeeky toy? Go calling (go squeeking the neighbourhood). Talk to your neighbours. Randy lost a furbaby about a year ago, snuck out the screen door just after she moved into her new place. They found her furbaby happily digging up a garden 3 blocks away. Talk to children...they know everything. Ask everyone you see....have good pic of him carry it with you and canvas the area. My Odin was originally found dumpster diving at a DQ and turned into the humane society. As he was intact and about 5 yrs old...we figure there's some breeder who's without their albino stud. Nobody ever came looking for him though. Check your local shelters. I got a call late one night someone had found a ferret in their basement. Out I went, nobody ever called about him Good luck....I think I'm not alone in saying that what happened to you is something every ferret owner dreads. ciao

Where do you live? Maybe one of us lives around you and could help?
I'm sorry he's lost now, keep looking and don't give up! Someone may just have taken him in!

I had a ferret years ago that got outside from a hole in our trailer floor, he came back home, found him sitting on our porch after I went out looking for him. Lotus also got out through the dryer vent one day while we were out of town and we came home to a missing ferret. We walked up and down the neighborhood knocking on doors asking if they've seen a ferret running around. I posted ads on www.kijiji.com and on my local free cycle and someone messaged me about the 4th day he was missing telling me that her friend found a ferret near where I lived and asked if it was mine and I told her it was possible. They brought him back to me the same day and I was oh so happy to have him back as I was really worried about him. Keep looking and stay positive and you'll find your little ferret!
