I feed swisher and wo Catswell treats a few a day. I have the happy hips for joints and the vitakitty for eyes, skin and coat. are these treats ok? the ingreadiants in the vitakitty are chickenbreast, flaxseed, vitamin E supplement and vitamin A acetate.
for the happy hips chicken breast, glucosamine hydrochloride, chrondroitin sulfate, flaxseed and vitamin E. both have omega 3's

Nothing glaringly wrong with them, do they tell you the IU of the Vitamin A and E? the flaxseed is likely running straight through your ferret and there goes your Omega 3 fatty acids with it. Just an FYI chicken necks are full of natural joint nutrients as are freeze dried cow trachea.

They should be ok. I have the Dogswell Vitalife treats, but I can only feed the duck treats. But I just got a ton in the mail as free samples. Including ones with the chicken wrapping fruit pieces. No idea what to do with those now.  |

Those are just fine. It says to only feed one treat pet pound of body weight. Mr. Bean is the only one of mine who will eat them I have to put a little olive oil on it for him to want it. As for you Chris you can just unwrap the chicken from the fruit peices and give them to a neighbor dog or chuck them. It isn't wrapped tight. Give the chicken ones to Kiwi since Apple has sensitivities.

Unfortunately whatever I give to Kiwi, Apple will steal. I can't take a chance on him finding her foods and eating them, my house is chicken free, for the ferrets of course!

If Rolo had the chance she would steal everyones treats. So lock Kiwi in the bathroom or in the cage where Apple can't get to her and give it to her then.
