What kind of flea bath did you use? Most of them are toxic.
The rash is probably due to the fleas. If you can get him to drink water that has a little Apple Cidar Vinegar mixed in the fleas won't bother him anymore. All you need is about 1/2 a tablespoon of ACV per cup of water.

I use the ACV in their water all the time, especially remembering to add it when we will be going outside. It works great and I don't think they can tell the difference.

I got mine at a health food store but I have seen it at food city for example on the bottom shelf where the olive oil and balsalmic vinegar and stuff is. When I don't add it to the water during flea season a wrinkly little dying flea will pop up on one of them and i kill it and add the vinegar back and no more fleas. i love the stuff!

The rash sounds like a flea allergy to me. Once you get rid of the fleas the rash will probably follow. If that is the case your little one will be able to tell you the instant you have fleas. He will be the one with the rash. Make sure that you get cider vinegar with mother in it. All the rest have been over processed. You will also find once your furbaby is off kibbles the fleas are not fond of natural fed furries. It's not that they won't bite them, they just don't seem to like them as much as kibble fed furbabies. ciao
