Hello all. My name is Tim. I just get back from a lengthy forum hiatis. I have a ferret named Mizu (Japanese for fresh water/running water/drinking water). My user name is Japanese as well (mange- 10,000, kyou-mirror, sharin-copy wheel, gan-eye)
Mangekyou-Kaleidoscope...it's an inside thing lol. But anyway, my ferret is 8 months old, 2 months when I got him. He was at petco, living in a pile of shredded newspaper, crappy food, and feces (YAY!). I immediately switched him, which was very easy since I had already done a lot of research. It also didn't hurt to have Giuli the Ferret Queen at my side (we are dating ) To me, kibble just never made sense (grains for carnivores ) so when I got my first pet, Giuli mentioned raw and whole prey. I did some research, and now I'm a whole prey psycho...and now mentor muhahaha. If you have any whole prey questions, please feel free to ask.

HI Tim! Welcome! Glad to have you here! Yep Giuli does a pretty good job of convincing people doesn't she? Mizu looks like a rolly polly bear!It's grand fun to watch them enjoy their food isn't it?

He sometimes uses an "alias" on other forums that he's not familiar with He's new to the whole forum thing. Took him a while to be convinced that he should get his butt online.

He was on TLH for a while back in Feb or March (?) when he first got Mizu but I dont think the forum was the right "fit" for him (not that its a bad forum, just not the right forum for him. Does that make any sense ) Im hoping he'll be active on this forum, he always talks to people about natural diets so I think he'd be a great mentor and I think he'll fit right in here.....if he would just get (and keep!) his butt online!
