What do you guys think of me adding some bone meal powder and slippery elm bark powder into the duck soup I make? Slippery elm is great for ferrets with food allergies or IBD, and Willy has food allergies so I think it would help alot. Any thoughts? And how much should I put in each batch? My batches usually make 3 ice cube trays so I'm not sure how much, or should I just mix a little in every time they get some. Willy has to have it at least twice a day before he gets his prednisone.

Well, depending on what you put in your soup you won't need the bone meal. As for the slippery elm, is Willy allergic to the raw food? or just kibble?

I make my soup with Primal Pet Foods frozen food. It's turkey flavored and it includes the organs and bones and stuff. So I wasn't sure if maybe a little bone meal might be good for him? We're not sure if he's allergic to chicken, or if it's the wheat and crap in it. I'm switching him over to Evo so if he still has yucky poops then he's probably allergic to chicken. But he hardly eats any kibble anyway because he gets his soup like 4 times a day, so he stays pretty full all day. But once school starts again I'm not going to be able to be home all the time to give him soup so much lol, so he's going to have to eat the kibble.

No, you don't need the bonemeal then. Too much bone can be a bad thing.
I'd just switch kibble and see how it goes for a few weeks. There is no need to add something to his diet (the slippery elm) that he probably doesn't need. Chances are it's the wheat bugging his belly.
