Hi There are allot great people here who will be glad to help you and answer your questions but be prepared to get many different opinions and options . every one has the same goal to feed and take care of there baby's in the best way possible , And you will see there are many options to feed as well as many ways to switch . I am just starting the switch to its been allot of fun bonding more with my ferts as well as see there funny reactions when they think its poison . Also watching my familie's reactions when I purree foods to try , they think I am crazy its priceless ! haha I strongly suggest you read as much as you can in all the different threads especially natural diet newbies thread holisticferret.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=newbie to see how others started there switch , problems they had and the different ways they over came certain obstacles as well the many different diets choices . then decide which is the best for you and your baby's . It can be overwhelming at first but it gets easer quickly , ask as many questions as you have , be patient sometimes it takes a little while to get answers the Mentors and mods have lives to and this forum is growing quickly and they do a very good job trying to keep up with the threads and all the questions

Hi Heather!
Welcome to you and Frankie! We are always happy to have another ferrant join the ranks of those offering the very best to their ferrets!
Frankie will shoe you his approval too - even if he is a bit reluctant at first- its amazing how once that carnivore within awakens the ferrets enjoy yet another level of exuberance with life!
Becoming truly involved in the preparation and feeding of your ferret also allows you another level of ferranting! Anybody can open a bag of kibble and scoop it into a bowl. But when you learn to put a delicious menu together and see your ferret chow down- it really gives you a sense of pride!
Welcome to the forum! Cheers, Kim
