sometimes some ppl SHOULD'NT BE ALOUD TO OWN A FERRET!!!! my boss came to me asking for any help that i could give her friend and sister took away a ferret that was being badly abuse by some kids this poor little guy was so skinny and couldnt even stand up and walk he would fall over so my boss and did what we could i told her to get a boneless chicken breast and blend it. well he was doing better they were feeding him every hour he was pooping and peeing turns out this ferret was my fav one at the store he looked like a skunk saddly he passed away  we did everything he is in a better place i want those little ------ bought up on charges am i wrong? i dont think i am |

That is horrible! It seems to me I am reading more and more stories like this one lately. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have pets. Young kids....even some teenagers can't be completely trusted. I wish things had ended better for "Skunk". Sometimes it helps me to believe in Karma. What goes around, comes around. It is the only thing that gets me through sometimes.

Poor little lost soul. Are we calling him "Skunky"? I will light a candle for him, perhaps there truly was meaning to his life....maybe it was nothing other than to feel someones love as he passed on. There is another bright star in the sky tonight. Such horrible things, do you have his little body? Take him to the humane society...they may not be able to do anything. They're just animals to the justice system Little ones like him are the reason I got into rescue, they're also the reason why I don't rehome. My heart breaks when I hear that one of these little ones died because of their abuse. Poor little thing.... I really wish I could say something that would take your pain away, but I think we all here hurt when we hear of this kind of thing. I'm sure that he will be well received by those that have travelled the path before. He's now strong, well fed never to be hungry again....I'm leaving now.... ciao |

Such a shame some people should never be allowed to have pets or children even . if they treat pets this waay imagine how they treat there kids? cant blame the kids it the parents to blame for not being responcible enough to teach them how to care for the poor little guy and monitoring him . Should be brought up on animal crueity charges but most states its just a slap on the rist if you can get them to do anything .

thanks guys it was truely sad yes lets call hum skunky he is now back to his healhtly state playing and running with all the other animals here in AZ if you are caught abusing animals u can and will go to jail and pay a very high fine its really good here we try and take care of the ones who cant speak for them selfs SR's kids and animals are very well taken care of i will talk to her again about them doing that.

 I don't like too many people. I'm picky for sure, even in just my friends. I fostered a beagle once, and I couldn't imagine some of the people who wanted to adopt my Arthur. Thankfully Skunky won't have to suffer any longer.

Poor little fuzzy I hope he got in some good bites to those horrid people! At least the little "Skunk" got to spend his last moments in the arms of caring, loving people. Poor little guy.

I swear reading this kind of stuff burns me up. I would never abuse my ferrets and couldn't even begin to imagine the pain that little guy was going through being so small.  |

i know it i was so mad when i was told about this i hate ppl when they do this to any animal look at the 4 out of the 8 we got i wont let anyone abuse any animal if i can skunk touch our lives at the store he was a good little boy that needed a loving home and found it a little late

That is sad about the little one. I want to put people in a cage and do this to them and see how they feel after awile. A holes.
