I was eating some ice cream and who decided they wanted to see what smelled so tasty? Kenai! Please Mom! C'moooon! Just a Taste?!?! Pweeeeeeeeeeze? He kept standing up (first tie I have seen him stand!) and putting his paws on the bowl to pull it down. So I kept feeling my bowl tip away and seeing a little ferret face popping over the edge. I couldn't help myself. I caved! I put the tiniest drop of vanilla-only on the tip of my finger and let him lick it. At which point of course he just wanted more! You spend MONTHS trying to switch them and all it akes is one teeny taste of sugary treat to get them hooked.

What a beautiful face! My ferret does that when I'm trying to drink soda out of a glass. He hooks his paws over the rim and tries to tip it toward him. Sometimes he sits on my shoulder and tries to squeeze his face in there as I put the glass up to my face to take a sip! Unbelievable how they love everything that is bad for them. They are so human-like.

If she hears me or my fiancee in the kitchen, there she is begging between my feet or attempting to climb my pant leg while I'm sitting on the couch eating. McD's fries are the worst though, I had to meet her previous owner quite a ways from my home when I got her and my best friend went with me. When we stopped for food the first thing Kahlua did was steal a french fry right from my mouth! I took it away, even though she was starving to death and I felt bad, but to this day if you bring home McD's she goes nuts! The other thing is anything with thick gravy. She loves the smell and I let her try a little on my finger once, it was when i first got her and I didnt know her too well. Of course she loved it and now she goes nuts for that as well. Its to the point where if we get McD's- we eat it in the car and if we make something with gravy, we eat it on the patio this way she doesn't get too mad.

Haha mine are the same way about ice cream-including the cat. How they knew they wanted it before they'd even tasted it is beyond me. I caved too and let them have a tiny lick. You can't resist those face

My one cat was just like that over barbeque chips! If you refused to give him one, he'd steal them from the bowl given half a chance- and he frequently did! For a kitty with a bad heart condition, boy could he run when he had a chip in his mouth When he hit 11(he wasn't supposed to live past one year old), we finally decided if he wanted it that badly, we'd quit chasing him to get them back

Mine put up a fight to stick their heads in my glass when there is soda in there. I have to be a cup ninja when they are trying to do that. The first time they tried it, it took me by surprise, as one ferret was doing something to my right. I was looking at him, and in the distraction, I look back and Fiddler is whiskers deep in mah' glass.

My cat loves chips too, but she just licks the flavoring off! It is gross, bc if you leave a bowl of chips out with your back turned and go back to get them, they are all soggy. As for ferrets, I came home and Clovis' little lard butt had stolen a pudding cup from the trash and was laying on the floor with his head jammed in the plastic cup, desperately trying to lick the remainders out.

Awww! That's what happens whenever Jeff (bf) and I have Strawberry Lemonade. Bonkers will try to tip it while Lincoln climbs behind us and tries to launch himself into the cup. Teamwork!
