There website is www.ferretdreams.org/. They are a nonprofit charitable organization and are a non-kill rescue. Right now they have 4 ferrets up for adoption and 3 on hold. Check out there webpage and feel free to help out, adopt or to gather information. Ashley

I like the new one! It looks really good! Do they still have the health coverage when you adopt a fuzbutt that has medical problems? I don't know them personally but they really are doing a great job and I can tell they are doing everything they can to help and they really do want the best for ferrets. Ashley (Edwards, Colorado)

Ferret Dreams assists with medial expenses for pre-existing conditions. Specifically, if a ferret has a known medical issue (such as adrenal disease) when it is adopted out to a new home, Ferret Dreams will assist with some of the expenses associated with the known problem. I don't know the details about how much is covered and/or the extent of treatment that get covered. I also suspect (but do not know) that treatment may need to be administered by one of the vets who works with Ferret Dreams. I also suspect that payment for any medical services rendered may go directly to the vet, but I'm not sure.
Ferret Dreams does do a LOT for ferrets in the Denver area. They work closely with the Boulder Valley Humane Society through key individuals who make sure any ferrets surrendered to BVHS that have medical issues go to Ferret Dreams where they receive the specialized care they need.
