Every time I have to shred paper(I run my own small business), they get a brand new dig box that they think is the most wonderful thing! Vincent's favourite playtoy for the longest time was an empty 4liter milk jug

What I used to do with my original group of ferrets was buy a 6 pack of those little "Mini" 8oz soda cans. Drink the soda then remove the pull tabs and wash and rinse the cans. Let dry. Fill cans with pasta and place duct tape over opening. Put can into old sock (the smellier the better.....hey they are ferrets after all lol ) and tie a knot at the top. My kids had so much fun stashing and playing with this. They could grip the can because it was in a sock and it rattled. How cool is that? This was my original business's favorite toy and it cost me nothing. I made it all out of things I was going to throw away anyway. I love that ferret's are easily amused (even if they are easily distracted and easily bored too haha!)

Koda's new favorite toy in an air pump. It is one of those yellow, accordion style air pumps that you get to fill up Bosu exercise balls, or kids blow up chairs. It has a long blue tube that attaches to the yellow pump. Shane decided to air-blast Koda with it and it was hilarious! He went crazy trying to catch it while Shane stood over him letting the tube dangle down and blowing air at Koda! (It blows gently) Koda kept trying to bite the air, and he would lunge for the tube as it blew air so it would fly away from him. It's the simple things that seem to entertain them the best. Koda just stashes most of his toys. I haven't tried an empty can yet but it wounds fun. What did you use to tape the opening?

I used duct tape to tape the opening. Then I securely tied the sock around the can so the ferts couldnt get to the duct tape. I need to try blasting my boys with an air pump lol! I bet they'd go nuts!
