Oh man! I want that for my iguana! That is an awesome buy! I would go for it! My concern would be whether or not predators could get through the mesh, and if it is completely escape proof. Someone else who has more experience can give you a better answer than me, but ferret or no that is a steal! (at least compared to the things on CL here!)

That looks awesome! I totally would love something like that. It looks good, because it has a wired bottom (ferrets can dig out, predators can get in). I wonder what the wire is made out of? If its strong enough, I'd say that's a good deal, personally

Awesome cage. Two things, you would have to check the gauge of the mesh and how close the holes or gaps are. The gaps can be no larger than the smallest chicken wire (I can't remember what that is, remember the wiring is set for birds not ferrets). The other thing is you will have to put a bottom on that cage. The wire will tear their feet apart. because they will try to dig out. I would put patio slabs or something like that and then sand on top of that, or soil. That's what I put in mine. I just found that the wire was very sharp and that they caught their claws on it. ciao

My boys have been in their outside cage almost every day for a week now and they are LOOOOOVING it. I have 2 outside cages, one similar to the one in the CL ad (wood frame, wire side and bottom) and then another with wire mesh, only its dug into the ground and covered with dirt so the ferrets can dig. I havent posted pics of the other one yet (I will soon ) The wire will tear their feet apart. because they will try to dig out. I would put patio slabs or something like that and then sand on top of that, or soil. That's what I put in mine. I just found that the wire was very sharp and that they caught their claws on it. ciao My outside cage has 1/4" wire mesh on the side and bottom. There is no way they can get out. I covered the floor with a heavy carpet to protect their feet. With all of their bedding on top of the carpet, they havent bothered trying to get under it.

hey that does look good i'd go for it! my boys tend to be outside 24/7 they have a converted chicken run its covered one end in case of rain and has lots of tubes for play, the wire mesh comes down each side then spreads flat on the floor this is then held down by slabs stopping unwanted guests and unwanted escapes. the floor in the run is an old rug and loads of hay to burrow in. hope that helps. z
