Well I finally got Koda a bag of rice for a dig box! He LOVED the dig box...and the bag! He is such a little spaz! haha The background song was from a list of default songs for the Flip camera I have, but It thought it fit perfectly. A very ferrety song in my opinion. I re-figured out my video camera so I will have more videos up soon! Enjoy!

Looks like he's making rice crop circles in the beginning! I just gave mine a bunch of shredded paper to play in, a couple eat those cornstarch peanuts and in the summer we have issues with these nasty little beetles so I didn't want to spread rice around the house.

It cracked me up the way he kept back-scooting his butt that way! haha Anyone know why he might have been doing that? I want to get another bag of rice to make it deeper

That's generally how they either carry things that are too big to pick up and carry, or how they move things out of the way, like he did with the dirt in the other video. But because he kept backing into the box sides, he thought he wasn't in the "clear" yet After all, if they were digging a tunnel for themselves, and just dropped the dirt where they backed into something, they'd entomb themselves pretty quickly! But it's still hilarious to watch! Next time, try picking up a handfull of rice, and gently letting it sprinkle all over his back, and watch his reaction But watch your hand! They're fast

Hahahaha. I love ferrets! I'll have to try a rice one. The one I made had peanuts, then sand. The sand was funny until badger kept using it as a litter box. I recorded a video of them playing in it on my phone, but idk how to put it up. Plus sand is just REALLY messy.
