Today the babies had their first (since I got them) trip to the vet.
I woke the monsters up and made sure they went to the potty. Then we were off. I spoke with one lady for a while and guess what happened while we were talking... The monsters found a corner the liked and... you guessed it, made a mess. But all in all they did good. They fussed a little at having the nails clipped, but not so much at the shots.
The vet was pleased at their health and even commented on Bandit's muscle tone (from the whole prey diet!). And he also noted Mal's very healthy weight (also from the whole prey diet).
The babies did me proud, and now Bandit is walking in circles around the house showing off her newly dead mouse.

Yes he asked what they ate and I told him that 2 are on whole prey and the other 2 are on a mix of kibble and whole prey. There was pretty much no reaction, I might as we have told him that they drink water. Later though I found out that he the best vet in the area for exotics. Lucky us.

Excellent! Im glad you didnt have to sit through a 20 minute lecture on how whole prey will either kill your ferret or turn it into a blood thirsty monster
