My boys never eat the heads, first time I found little mice heads under a blanket in their cage I thought of the movie the godfather. It was so creepy finding the heads hidden. Darlene,Koby,Dontae&Jayla Remembering Abby&Nike

How are they doing, Heather? It can be difficult to get ferrets onto prey, like I said your best bet is probably to slowly transition them to raw (start by moistening their kibble) then progress onto a variety of raw foods, THEN whole prey.

Well, I have two new batched of mice, these are black large ones, instead of the extra large white ones, & a couple of the ones who already ate the mice, won't eat them. I just finished off the last of the old batch, so I am gonna see if the there is any changes with the new batch again. Majik didn't care, he ate his x-lg mouse, & also one of the lg black ones. I will keep you posted. I threw in some chunks of raw meat in their soup & I am sure it got eaten. I may try more separating for feeding, to work on the non raw/mouse eaters. I already have three separations, with the babies maturing, so we'll see. =)
