I FINALLY got to go see them on Monday! Fender looks wonderful and Koda is HUGE!! I've been saying for the last year that my next fuzzy would be a giant one and I got him without even knowing it! I was dumb, and didn't pull out my camera, but I'll be back over there next week and I'll get some pics! I can't WAIT until we get a house and I can have my babies back!!

Ahh, fantastic...I bet you are counting days lol. I can't imagine not being with my furbabies. You will have to remember your camera the next time. I probably would have done the same. Too busy hugging and snuggling ciao

The ferrets took it just fine. They certainly haven't had any lack of socialization I don't know that they "recognized" me. Well, obviously Koda didn't Fender acted the way she always has "yeah yeah whatever put me down so I can bite feet". It was fun getting to watch them run and jump around. It won't be too much longer till they'll be home...

Thats wonderful! I couldn't be without my fuzzies. They would probably get depressed and stop eating and playing if I wasn't around. I'm glad you got to see them and are getting them back soon.

All of my animals (and children for that matter) are very ummmm, I'm not sure what word to use - versatile? - and do well in pretty much any situation. I'm not sure why, or what we do that's special. I can switch food, switch houses, move across the country, crate them, leave them with people they don't know, feed them anytime day or night, etc and it doesn't affect any of them adversely (that goes for ferrets, dogs, cats, etc). Well, except Fritz. He sticks to me like glue, and while he doesn't stress or anything somewhere else, he spends most of his time by the window waiting for me lol. He was abused though, and I guess we kind of have a special bond, even though he's treated the same as the others. I do miss having the ferrets (and my kitty) here, though, and I'm getting really tired of waiting for my house to close. Definitely being taught a lesson in patience here... At least now they're just 30 minutes away instead of 30 hours, though!!
