Okay, not really mad, I can kinda laugh about it, but this is really frustrating. You know how you're supposed to let them choose their corner, then put the litter box there....well, they use the litterbox downstairs, but upstairs they won't poo at all, they go to the shelf between and always go in the same corner of the shelf. So, me after 2 weeks of this, I go to the store and buy a small litter box for that corner, put the litter in it and...they dug it all out, and went to the other corner of the same shelf to go. Fine. I clean it up, and put a little poo in the box so they know what its for. An hour after they are back in their cage, they have already pooped on the shelf again!!!! URGGG! So, now I'm going to clean that up and put bedding down. Maybe that will work. So, you see how this is funny, but it's not...

Try getting a cuddle cup or an old blanket and put it there. Mine have never gone potty on a blanket or anything they thought was a bed. they hate using the bathroom in their "bedroom" Even my brand new 9 week old Mr. Bean is 100% cage potty tained and has never gone potty anywhere put the litter box.

when i first got my fuzzies, they pooped on the bedding. It made no difference. It took a while, but they finally learned.

Apple has never pooped on the bedding, but he does rub his butt on it after he goes. And yesterday I was cleaning the litter box and I guess he couldn't wait so he peed in the corner it usually is in! Sigh....just a few more minutes and it would have been there again!
