Im not sure this is the right place to post this but I was just browsing through old threads and reading about out door enclosures and what not and I know its going to be a long time before I get one (need to buy a house first) but I like to keep thinking up ideas.. In the summer Mojito loved park trips and although he hates water at home, he be-lines for it at the park and if the little minnow-y fish are in there he will watch them really closly, pick one and then fallow its movements with his head (it swims left, his head goes left) and eventually he will dip his whole face in the water like he is trying to catch it in his mouth. Of course he has never been successful but he seems to enjoy the activity. So I was thinking, when I get a house and can build an outdoor enclosure- would a small, shallow little minnow pond be as bad of an idea as I think it would, lol

She has to have one of the most amazing enclosures I've ever seen. It is so natural and blends so well. Go on her site, she tells what you need to do to create such a play area and make it safe ciao

How would you keep the fish alive outside in a ferret pond? I want to put feeder goldies in mine for enrichment but at the same time keep them alive unless the weasels decide to knock a few out. ...Lelloo..:glares at her evil-child: I've never had a pond. Does marie have a filter? I want to do water plants to do a natural filter.

You could always pm her. She might be able to tell you if she's got fish in her ponds. She's not feeling well right now and may take some time to get back to you but would probably answer your questions ciao
