I haven't done the text tonight. I'll do a text in the morning (for my sanity--I don't want to stay up all night waiting on a text, and I will) if I haven't heard from her. If that doesn't work, I'll cross my fingers that a good ferret home stepped in. There's a good ferret health community around here with MSU, so she'll be in my thoughts.

No news yet. I am secretly hoping the owner changed her mind about rehoming, even though it is unlikely. I've reached the point in my weekend where I couldn't pick her up until Monday because of prior commitments ... Said a prayer for her. Maybe I'll hear something, but now I have my doubts.  |

Here's the end of the story: Wezzy's ad is no longer on Craigslist. However, there is an ad for the cage and everything in it. This leaves me a least hopeful that an experienced/semi-experienced ferret owner took her in and had no need for the cage. I'd rather think positively about that.
