I see...I will DEFINITELY put egg shell in it next time. Now, why exactly don't you give them egg daily? Is it bad for them or not as nutritionally wholesome?

Too much raw egg white can cause a biotin deficiency.
*wikipedia:
Symptoms
Initial symptoms of biotin deficiency include:
1. Dry skin 2. Seborrheic dermatitis 3. Fungal infections 4. Rashes including red, patchy ones near the mouth (erythematous periorofacial macular rash) 5. Fine and brittle hair 6. Hair loss or total baldness (alopecia)
If left untreated, neurological symptoms can develop, including:
1. Mild depression, which may progress to profound lassitude and, eventually, to somnolence 2. Changes in mental status 3. Generalized muscular pains (myalgias) 4. Hyperesthesias and paresthesias

Hi and Welcome to the group!!! Your Fuzz are cuties! Love the pic of everyone in the Gator!! Hearts and gizzards are muscle meat, you want to find liver, kidney or some other type of "secreating" type organ to use in your soups for organs... Chicken livers are pretty easy to come across, they even sell them at WalMart.

Thanks for the info and warm welcome! I picked up a mortar and pestle today and was able to add eggshell and freeze-dried liver to the soup today. The girls loved it!! I think it smells better as a recipe too. Midna and Mabel are eating from a spoon now rather than the syringe. Mimosa resisted but after I gave her some with a syringe, she realized mommy is NOT trying to kill her and ate from the spoon too. They each ate about 1/2 to 2/3 of a teaspoon of the soup. It's really not runny; about like yogurt. YAY for progress!!
