Yesterday Lola got her first mousie. I`ve been trying to get her on raw food the last week..with a bit of success. Her first kill she wasn`t 100% sure but today on her second kill she did great! Quick and clean and nothing left! Attachments:

YAY! Congrats! I thought about training mine for whole prey by just throwing a live one at em' because I don't want to go through the whole cutting a dead one open for them. Oh and I tried an adaptation of what you tried (I know I was lurking in your posts LOL) I smeared some kibble powder (that I used to make kibble soup to get them used to soupies) on a chicken leg. My boy Timmy chowed on it but little girls were prissy about it. Stuck their noses up at it. Timmy's a little hog though and he'll eat just bout anything. I'm working on the girls harder to get to raw as Timmy doesn't need to be pushed at all. Miko (the baby) is doing better than Zip. But Zip is coming along. Tonight was the first night she ate her soup with out me having to hold her. She ate it all on her own!

Thanks everyone. Lola was eating a chunky chicken paste off my fingers today My big teddy bear husband just shivered...yuck raw meat I know it didn`t take Lola long to Train him to put his gloves up. She smells those cows on his gloves and she goes to chewing! He just laughs and calls her his "little stinker."

I think mice or mouses as we like to call them to be silly, are hot wired in their heads. I got a tiny juvi mousie mouse for her to get her going. I figured the worse that could happen was she wouldn`t go after it. Then i`d be forced to put on the kittens in the baskets. I am sure they would of loved to offer advise..they where just watching that mousie-mouse! Of course we all laughed afterwards as we all at the same time looked at my pants..I had my "Mini-mouse" pants on! Isn`t a great feeling when they at least ry to do it on their own?
