Wasn't sure where to put this. Its not a medical question really since I dont even have ferts yet. This vet ...well see for yourself. www.heidihoefer.com/index.htmlShes a bit far for me but I can take them there for regular checkups and such.If I have a emergency there is a closer vet here where I live. Anyone around here ever been there? How was the care and of course the prices?

Call and ask how often they see ferrets. I see she's AFA certified(or at least associated with them), so she has to have passed certain criteria. You can also ask prices, etc. As well as setting up either an "in person" or telephone interview with them.

Never heard of her, but its nice to see she is in good terms with the AFA so she must be doing something right :-) Best thing to do is just call and talk to them and ask them questions to see how much they really know and what kind of treatments they do.
