To attach the ferret nations. I bought some 1/2inch steel tubing. I cut it to the correct length I needed it. Bought some nuts and bolts. Welded the bolt inside the tubing so I can attach it like the original side panels. Then I made some connecting pieces out of steel to hold it together using the original holes. I powder coated it all so it is animal safe. And done, so I didn't have to ruin any panels if I wanted to make 2 separate cages again. I work in an autobody shop, so I have all the tools to do it. I'll have to post some pic close up of it.
