I know this seems funny but its not..... I think Mojito has a serious static issue. He gets static-y because he likes to hide behind the fridge and the trash bin and he runs back and forth between the two and then he freaks out (i have a vid on my itouch but I cant figure out how to get it off the itouch and onto the computer yet, it wont go if i try to do it the same as I import the pics) When I figure out how to get it onto my computer, I will post a video of him flipping out from static. Does anyone else have a static issue?
In the video, its from last night, he got so upset he did a sideways roll thing in the air and landed on his side on the linolium pretty hard. Its not ur average weasel war dance, its more... aggrivated imo

Is he scared or having fun? You can get antistatic clothes to possibly rub on him but to be honest I've never seen it before. Can you stop him from playing behind the fridge? It's not a good place for him to play anyway ciao

It's not a good place for him to play anyway ciao I've been trying to work something out but before doing anything like that I have to get an OK from managment (appt complex) and usually id be like psh w/e forget them! But I need them to come in and look at my dishwasher and my stove (been waiting for 2 months for this) He doesnt go behind it though. Its like the side between the wall and the fridge.. I'll try and get the video up or at least some pictures. He doesnt seem scared at all, its somewhere between fun and ticked off because he'll flip all around and then groom himself and then weasel war dance and bump into something and hide behind either the fridge or the trash can and then start all over. He loves it in that space, he runs into it and then wags his tail before pouncing on the nearest living thing.. He isnt much for playing, at least not in the way Kahlua is. He isnt even intereted in BEHIND the fridge or under it- just the side (like a hidey hole just enough to go there and then sneak attack you) so I figured it wasn't too dangerous. Its not like he sleeps back there or anything.. I hope its ok because he gets a big kick out of it and when my fuzzies are happy, so am i

it might be bad for him especially if he is allergic, i know ferrets are sensitive i think the sheets still work after theyre used so you could put up used ones to keep him from having a reaction if he was allergic

Kitchens are dangerous places for ferrets I choose I block mine off completely. Also please do not rub your ferret with dryer sheets or let him anywhere near them as they have carcinogens in them and can make your ferret ill.

Also please do not rub your ferret with dryer sheets or let him anywhere near them as they have carcinogens in them and can make your ferret ill. Oh okay, I'm glad I haven't! Wow that could have beeen really bad I have been trying to play kitchen goaly (Tequila's been helping too) but its hard when I can't really block it or just the fridge off and the kitchen is his favorite room because he likes to slide on the tile and hide between the fridge and the wall or the wall and the trash to jump out on people. I tried a baby gate and he either climbed over it or squeezed around it. I am not really sure what else i can do plus, how can I substitute for his favorite toy (tile floors- he will KILL to get into the bathroom too but they arent aloud in their because I dont trust the space between the floor and the cabnet, I checked the kitchen and that is all really secure.) They dont try to get into cabnets, but if they did I have the safety things on them and the only other real danger in our kitchen is the oven which we never use (cause its broken and maitnence wont fix it. I keep tryna get them to come and they havent- last night i had them out for an emergancy but they wont look at the oven cause its not an emergancy and not what i called the emergancy line about) Anyway- ovens broken and they try to get in the dishwasher when its open but I dont let them. They are always closely supervised in the kitchen and we keep all our chemicals in the bathroom since the kitchen is the smallest thing in our apartment (next to bathroom) and we need all the kitchen space for food. I don't like my food to be kept near my chemicals anyway. What else could be dangerous?

My smaller girls can fit under the dishwasher(mine's movable, not fixed). We think that's where Lucrezia got hold of the foam that gave her a blockage. Can you move the fridge to block off the side he gets into(and sooner or later, he WILL go behind it, just to see what's there ), and duct tape a thin sheet of plywood to the other(open) side of the fridge to block access to the back? It's removable, and you just use a remover to get any residue off the fridge.
