How long does this typically last? I used to feed a mix of purina one kitten, GO, EVO, and marshalls. Now I removed the purina one kitten and most of the marshalls and Lily has had diarrhea for a little under a week. She seems fine otherwise, playing and she is not dehydrated, and eager to eat her raw dinner at night time. Could it just be the change of protein she is not used to. It is really gross, like basically yellow mucous.

Try adding a bit of pumpkin and/or eggshell powder in the meat mix for her. How long is the period between eating the kibble and the raw? Or is she still even on kibble?

i would not give her hard kibble and raw at the same time. even if it is freeze dried. if you give her kibble then wet it and make it a mush. hard dry kibble in the stomach has to be broken down and then digested. this is said to interfere with digestion of raw food. if you took out the marshalls and purina kitten, that means that your ferret is now getting a higher percentage of protein from the evo and petcurean. this could explain the stomach upset /yellow poo. give her pumpkin she may have hairballs.

Thanks for everything. I'm hoping it is just stress. I gave her some pumpkin and her poops did improve, so maybe I'll keep that up for a few more days. I thought of the hairball thing, cause Huck gets the same thing when he has hairballs. So maybe I will give her some more pumpkin and she how she does. If no improvement she is going to the doc.

Seasonal coat changes/shedding also causes my ferrets to have gastrointestinal issues. Sometimes they poop slimy green or yellowish.
