The white is only a problem if you're feeding a lot of eggs. Assuming you're feeding a reasonable amount like 1-3 eggs per day, the white won't be an issue.

Actually, general consensus seems to be one to three a week, just to be on the safe side. The idea is that the avidin in the white binds to the biotin in the yolk and the body, creating a biotin deficiency. Not sure how valid it is, as there are still arguments over it, but like with taurine(we still have no idea how much, if any, a ferret truly needs- our assumptions are based on studies of cats), IMO better to play it safe.

I suppose 1-3 a day is more dog proportions. I know a lot more about raw diets for dogs than I do for ferrest

Just so you don't make the same mistake I did with my brats...no more than 1 to 3 eggs a week, otherwise you will contribute to a serious rat tail issue. I spent most of a year thinking all my brats had come down with adrenal....which of course went away as soon as I stopped feeding large amounts of eggs . ciao
