Those are nice! I like the patterns, very appropriate for little boys! Uriah says I need to give Clovis and MegaWeasel a break and get some boy bedding. Everything is pink and purple.

Thanks guys! I did some sewing but my sister did most of it while I cut and measured. She is WAY better at sewing than me anyways. The patterns I was really excited about. We have crappy patterns here so when I visited my parents I was excited they had a few good patterns. I'm changing my room theme. Right now it's red and black with some hints of green. But I'm FINALLY changing it to a Nautical theme! I have some plenty stuff though so I'm putting like navigational stuff in like maybe a few star charts and a sundial. Then I have the reptile cages and some cute jungley hammocks and whatnot so I figure to tie in green my gave color and the reptiles, I'll add a bt of a tropical jungle traveling to it too. Lol SO ligthouses for nautical and the boys colors - Koda's red Kenai's blue. All of my bedding was red almost so poor Kenai was underrepresented. And planes for navigation. And mostly bc I thought it was too cool of a pattern to pass up matching or not.

You did a great job! I need to get motivated to make some -- I need a gender neutral pattern LOL How many yards of fleece did you buy to make all of that? Hmm.... *ponders* The closest fabric store is clear across town

You did a great job! I need to get motivated to make some -- I need a gender neutral pattern LOL How many yards of fleece did you buy to make all of that? Hmm.... *ponders* The closest fabric store is clear across town 2 yards each (front and back material) should be enough to do mats and covers with some (I think) left over for hammocks. I ended up overestimating and got 4 yards of each fabric...I ended up with a LOT of hammocks! I was really having to think of what else to make for the sake of not having like 20 hammocks of each pattern, so I made hanging tunnels and sacks and stuff too. Oh, and no one got around to my questions about the dimensions so I googled the FN cage. And ended up sewing it all to the outer dimensions. So everything is about 1/2 to 1 inch too wide on every side. Better too big than too small though!

Oh- and if anyone wants to make "crinkle" tunnels? Just put the crinkly type of plastic grocery bags in between the layers

Those sets look great. I love that crinkle tunnel idea. I will have to make some of those for the ferrets and rats.

I made my first set to the perfect size, but didn't wash my fabric first, sooooo after I made it and washed them they shrunk up! I like the end result of sewing, but the process frustrates me so much!

I knew someone who made crinkle mats for her cats by putting wax paper inside. She made the bed like a pillow case, so she could replace the wax paper whenever it got soft and non-crinkly.
