Hi! I thought we could create a thread dedicated to our deaf lovedones! This is Baby Dru, and he is totally deaf. He is soon to become 2 years old. We live in Sweden!

I will have to check through my files and pull some pics of my deafies. Your Dru is absolutely adorable. I've always had a soft spot for the Panda types. Funly enough, I've never actually had one in rescue. I did babysit one for a time. He was a cuddly little lovebug. ciao

What a cute ferret. I have three deaf ferrets, five ferrets total. My first ferret is deaf, and he is SO smart!! He does tricks with hand signals and is so calm when I take him out on his leash or to visit people--loud noises don't spook him so he is really relaxed. Well, my middle ferret isn't completely deaf, he can hear high pitches, but nothing else.

Dru is sooo frikken cute! Neka, though i believe he can hear some pitches. He does this stop and look around move every now and then with a look like "wait what was that???" I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. De Mille....

You're little Dru is sooo cute. This is Yuri Brat-skovich, he's my most recent deafy This is Fun-Go B Squiggly, biter extrodinaire This is Lady "B" Itchy, whose name says it all This is Attila (RIP) Little Zena (RIP) Porthos the Pirate (RIP) Aremis (RIP) Little Natasha Boris Bad-enuff I had one other little soul, Athos who wasn't with us long enough to ever get a picture. His deafness and a moments carelessness caused an accident which his resulting injuries cost him his life. He didn't survive his surgery. His little soul weighs heavily on my heart. These are and were my little deafies. Most were turned in because they were bad biters, nothing a little patience and some knowledge wouldn't cure. ciao
