What does everyone think about having a permanent thread dedicated to sales, coupons, and discounts on different foods and stuff. I was watching Extreme Couponing on TLC a couple days ago, and I am in saving mode now. I have a goal of feeding my two girls a nice variety of foods for $25 a month (so I'd have to pay about 2 per lb average if they eat about 3 oz a day each). So I thought it would be kind nice to have a certain place for sales at different stores, coupons for things like free shipping, etc. I hate missing out on a good deal. I would be happy to share any good deals I can find with everyone. Maybe we can even have a little contest to see who can get the best deals (nothing wrong with a little friendly competition). I'd be happy to take care of most of the work. It could be updated weekly for the major stores, and then anyone who finds something else can just post it. Maybe a separate section for USA and Canada?? Let me know what you all think

I like this idea, I am more inclined to buy freeze dried foods if it is on sale somewhere and I LOVE free shipping but that it rare.
edit: note to mod perhaps this should be moved to a different section since it still pertains to ferrets and food.

Maybe we could have a couple different sections - food, toys, bedding, etc. Hopefully more people are interested.

If I can find anything to post I would be interested in helping. I appreciated that post for the World's Best Cat Litter rebate (we're using Good Mews).

I used to do the Grocery Game and saved a lot of $$$ (dont' do it now because we just don't have the storage space to make buying in bulk practical). It gets addicting to see how much you save. I'd love to do this with fert stuff.

Yay! Glad to see more people who would be interested in something like this.
So what would you all like to see in this thread? What stores do you shop at online and in person? What products do you often buy?

What products do you often buy? www.ferret.com and LFFR (Little Feet Ferret Retreat). Scrivener's Retreat on Etsy looks great for toys, too.
