I think I pretty much have my new little guy Titan switched over to raw. He finished all of the chicken wing that I cut up and put in his bowl. It was coated in ground up Zupreem kibble. I decided to try him on a little bone so I just put 4 slices in the flapper part of the wing and broke the bone up a little. So far he dragged out off (into his litter box ), chewed on it for a while, then kinda ignored it. So I re-covered it in the ground kibble and he's working on it again now. He seems to like taking it into his litter box, or the corner near it and under the ramp. I need to get him a feeding den made soon lol. I think he's having trouble tearing the meat in to swallow-able pieces though, but I'm sure he'll get the hang of it soon. PROGRESS!!!!!!! Sorry, I'm excited lol.

That's fantastic! And yes, he should stop taking it to the litter box soon

Congratulations...your little one has started his journey to better nutrition. The litter box...well, not all of them learn that's not a good stash spot. Making a feeding den will certainly go a long way to convince him not to stash in his litter box and hopefully he will learn that "you" don't want him to stash his food in his privy ciao

Or should I feed out of the cage all together?

Some people on board use pop boxes. I have a couple in the dining room that the guys use. They get thrown out every couple of days. I have a (I think it's a hamster habitat) plastic hutch in the ferret room that they shove around and put in strategic places (I never know where it's going to be next ) I feed my guys both in the house and in cage. It becomes your preference. A lot of people only feed in cage (means that strange food offerings don't show up in unusual places....under cushions, in the sofa, under the pillow, in shoes ) It depends on how worried you are about raw food and bacteria ciao
