Hi and Welcome to the group! Cassiel is real a cutie!!! Love her little dark nose You could probably start her off right away with raw and not even have to bother with kibble, but I've never had a kit, everyone here was 1-6 years old when they came home so they were already imprinted on kibble...I've heard that kits are easier to switch.

She is a Marshalls ferret yes and I bought no kibble so she is going without food right now. I did try letting her eat a cricket which she did so that hunting instinct definitely is there. Tomorrow for breakfast I'm going to give her chicken. I'm so excited. She's a little booger but everyone here has taken to her very nicely and she has already fallen asleep in my lap. I'm ecstatic!

Your baby girl is such a cutie! Your picture together looks like you're meant to be best buds! She's so beautiful!
As far as raw goes, I put Hiro in the cage with the new guys the first time he came home for a few minutes to get he and his siblings acquainted, and he ate all the chicken livers in the bowl. After that, I knew he'd be easy. Actually, all of them were kits when they switched, and all were easy to switch.
Congratulations!!!!!

I would be offering her some chopped up meat tonight. She's a baby, she's going to need that sustenance. ciao

Agreed She's got to keep that energy level up! As kits, they'll literally pack the food away,

What great other pics too! And a fab idea, giving her crickets! Is she a black sable? Did you pre-order her? *stares at tiny baby pic and dreams*

Yes, she is a black sable and I did pre-order her. Not sure how qualified Marshall is when it comes to being a mill or whatnot but she's got a great home now. I fed her a little ground meat since you guys said it would help and she took to it like white on rice! I have pics of her breakfast feeding, I'll put that in the raw feeding section!
