I love the face plants in the bowl And he's certainly got BIG paws! I know Sherry I was totally staring at them. Wonder if he'll get bigger than Koda. That's what happened with Asher. One day he's tiny, next day he dwarfs his older brother.

I LOVE the huge "puppy paws". Tonto had the big paws - and still does. Shaman is my BIG boy, and his feet are not as big as Tonto's. So, ferts can have big feet as kits and not necessarily get huge. Tonto paws as a baby (about 13-14 weeks old)... Attachments:

I thought his paws looked big too. I hope it means that he will be a big boy! I love big, giant, squishy ferrets!

Honestly, he reminds me a lot of Hiro. Hiro is a little darker than Kenai, some parts are more silver than others-his head is, so I thought he was for sure when I got him, but he was a lot darker than that in some places. He also has white kneecaps and stuff. I alwyas think big noses mean they might get big. Oz had a huge nose, and def. grew into it. Hiro weighs more than Oz now, and has a big old nose. However, Hiro looks littler than Oz-he's very dense and compact.

i had no idea you finally caved to a second ferret!! i have been so busy with final projects in my studio classes that i havent been on in a month! (im done for the semester thou ) when did this happen?? congrats! hehe I thought I hadn't seen you around in a while! We missed you! It started here... holisticferret.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talking&action=display&thread=6273 Then here... Meet Kenai! holisticferret.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talking&action=display&thread=6281There was a baby at eh Pet store who I kept thinking about. I wanted a girl, and was pretty adamant about it, and this little ferret was a boy. I kept telling myself you want a girl, you want a girl...but I would NOT stop thinking about the little ferret. The last time that happened and I didn't follow through...I regret it to this day! So I decided to go back and see him, and at least hold him and introduce them to Koda to see if we even "liked" him (despite his overwhelming cuteness ). I went half knowing he would probably come home with us, and half hoping Koda would hate him so the temptation would be gone and I could wait until after the Holidays like planned, and so I could get a little girl. Well, he was obviously sweet and adorable and Koda liked him. He kept trying to climb back out to me when I put him back, and when I put him back, Koda kept trying to climb up my leg and find him, or jump out of my arms into the pet store cage! I originally wanted to name him Sitka, but when we got home he told me his name was Kenai. It just fit so much better. And it turned out (I realized after the fact and was totally happy about it), that Kenai is the name of the older Brother Bear (Disney movie lol). I thought Kenai was one of the human brothers when I named him, but then found out it was the bear. Perfect! lol Anyways, Koda didn't know what to think of him at first. He was excited for a play mate, but since he thinks he is a human only having had us for playmates, he was a little confused as to what the little furry thing was. There was some jealousy, and workng out who is Alpha, and poop wars (the poop wars are still in action actually ), but they are doing really well now!
