so i think i got one of my ferrets to actually try some fish. i picked up some smelts yesterday just to see if they like the fish and would eat it, pebbles did pick it up and move it, and i believe there is some fish missing, so that's good. how often can i feed fish? I'm not sure if there is a limit because of the bones amount/oils or whatnot. which is why I'm asking.

I've heard not more than once or twice a week. Remember too, balance over time, also remember that ferrets are small so the length of time would be shorter than say a dog. I wouldn't feed any more than 3 times a week, with the implication that I'm probably not going to feed fish for another couple of weeks after that. They have a tendency to smell a little fishy if they eat it too much ciao
