I'm out of heart for the time being. and i don't know if i can get any like right away. as in now. they get heart on Tuesdays, which is today, but since i don't have any, they didn't get any. I'm not sure what's the earliest i can get it.
until i do get some what should i do. i have a supply of organs, if that would work until i get some heart. i have a bunch of other meats too, but i don't know how much tautrine they have in them.

It should be ok. It's still up in the air if ferrets actually need taurine. That being said, they've now discovered that dogs "do better" with taurine so, I"m going to say they need it. They are a true carnivore and cats need it so why not. Dark meats have more taurine than white meats. So try and get it asap, until then can you get hold of synthetic taurine? ciao

Check GNC or other health/nutrition stores, I've seen it there before. If not, try feeding dark meats as much as possible until you can get a more reliable source.

It generally takes quite a while for a deficiency to build up. Lamb meat has quite a bit of taurine.
