So Shane and I are always coming up with fun ferret names, but we can't buy a million ferrets to fit the names...or can we? Anyways, between that, and people getting new ferts looking for names, I thought it would be fun to start a naming thread. Put in any names you like for a ferret, have for a ferret, etc! Then when someone is looking for a name suggestion, they will have a nice list to look at for inspiration! Hazard Dook of Hazard Frick and Frack (someone pleeeease name their ferrets this! haha) Dookie Bella Trixie Lilo and Stitch Koda ...I have a million more but I am too tired to remember them atm. lol Post your additions!

Of course, I have Paulie (ferret of many nicknames: Chompster, Paulster, Shark, etc). I would love to get a Silvio to go with him. (Mobster ferrets).
I wanted to name a ferret Zephyr too (I think that would be a beautiful name for the right jill).

I have a Boris and Natasha The brats, if there's trouble to be had they're right in the middle of it. Both are deaf and spend a lot of time screaming at each other when they're not screaming at Captain Jack and Fun-Go B Squiggly. ciao

If I had adopted a bonded pair, they would have been named Bo and Bumble And remember that child's story about the mongoose who saved his family from the rattle snake - Rikki Tikki Tavi. Rikki for short

We considered Riki Tiki Tavi for Koda, but it was too long lol A few names we had on the list for Koda Bear Grizzly Monster Tonka I also really like Sitka. If I get another male ever I think his name will be Sitka. Maybe I need 3 ferrets instead of 2...Koda, Sitka, and Stella Luna (no one is allowed to steal that last one! It is reserved for my silver female whenever she find me! ). haha I feel the ferret math approaching....as soon as we work out Koda's issues. Trapper Ari Bella Jack Nimble (or Jack Sprat, or Jack Sparrow!) Phoenix (Would be really cool for a nice cinnamon...) Osirian www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=s&hl=en&source=hp&q=osirian+temple&btnG=Google+SearchJezebel

Nefertiti - would be a good one for an alpha female! Osa Aya Swiper! Dora Boots Piper (or Sand Piper...) Plover or Clover And of course, I can't leave out 1/2 of the inspiration for Koda's name (his name is a combination of Bother Bear, and Beast Master...)... Kodo and Podo

I just found out that my beloved Nachoda's name really means thingy (man's part, since this wont let me say the real word) in Navajo, not stinky as I intended O well In my defense the words are very similar and I was told over the phone. It makes what my mom did even funnier. When they were traveling outside of a Navajo reservation they stopped to use the outhouse and when my mom came out of it there were several Navajos and she said "Man, it sure is nachoda in there."

(though i admit i like Bill more than Eric.. but i digress) Some names i am thinking... Wolverine - i watched a movie the other day called Running Free about a boy and his ...wolverine.. and the similarities between that monster and a ferret..... well i'm just surprised no one has mentioned it yet lol some others names that will probably tell you too much about the kinds of things that interest me.. boys: Cesar Antony Cicero Merlin Caius Uther Jericho Barrons or Barron Robin(as in hood as in stealing peoples stuff) Beowulf Gregory(always liked that name and the actor Seneca Brutus Grimm(as in the Brothers Grimm) Mij(from Ring of Bright Water Captain Gregg Girls: Lucia Pippi (longstocking) Grendel Kiki Hermione Mathilda Little Jo )from the Ballad of Little Jo) Shiloh Fury ok i'll stop now....... all those names and i'm only planning on getting one other ferret...... or am i ?
