This is me with one of the orange and white kitties my dad rescued from the side of the road in October 2008. Her name is Timbit (she is so tiny) and she taught herself to hunt. Actually, Paulie thought she was a strange ferret and would try to wrestle her, then scruff her. She would just look at me like "would you remove this guy, k thanx." Her sister, George, is my special cat that I couldn't take to Michigan because she loves the outdoors so much I didn't want to break her heart. She's missing me though--my pretty little kitty. She's the cat that broke her hip (a second time, we think) by falling out of a tree and cried for me because she knew I'd come help her. True trust, the rescued's love. (She will also only brave the house--she's afraid of it--when I am home).

I don't really think that's appropriate, Aaron.

I did teach for two years, but don't anymore. I am in grad school. If you went to a small high school in rural Ohio you might know me, lol. Or Ohio University. Timmy's a dear (Tiny Tim, Timbit) and such a cutie. She's almost in perpetual kitten-dom for features because she was such a runt and then got sick (the vet wasn't sure she'd make it). Well, she mended and went through kitten terror stage (you know, making up for lost time). She taught herself to hunt by catching and eating bugs. She'll still go around the house eating spiders. (Eat them before they eat me?) Now she's a very nice little cat. I do wish I had a picture of George too. She is a gorgeous cat. Also mostly white but her fur has that extremely soft and thick quality, even though it is short. She's regal looking in the face (when she isn't hiding under a blanket in her Cat Cave, waiting to pounce). She leans up for kisses, and comes running when I call "Georgie Porgie Puddin' and Pie" priceless.
