I think the girls like warmed up soup. I forgot to take out soup yesterday so it could thaw so today I had to put cubes of the soup in a bag and put the bag in a bowl with hot water to thaw it and they ate more of it when it was warm.

Rikku has gained more weight, Risa is the same but Rena lost weight. I will start feeding her 2 meals a day.

Good idea. And, yes, warm up their soup. I always warm up the soup for my critters so for some reason I assumed you were too. Sorry for not mentioning it.

Rena has put on a little weight and has been eating more on her own but I am still hand feeding her 2 meals a day just to make sure shes getting enough. Rikku as usual is eating a lot. Risa is also eating a good amount on her own but I will still hand feed her 1 meal a day.

Not much has changed. I have been hand feeding Rena and now she is eating a decent amount.

I think you're doing a good job. Get your little one plumped up a bit because she seems like a stubborn girl and is willing to go on a hunger strike to show you who is boss.

Rena is back up to 28.6oz. I think she should weigh more but I have gotten her to eat. Over the last few days she has been eating a good amount. She has been slowly gaining weight. Rikku is still gaining weight. He is now at 39.4oz. Risa is gaining a little weight. She is now at 31oz.

None of them ate any soup last night. I made new soup but I made it the same way.

The little buggers. That's fine if they skip a meal every now and then. Maybe they like it better after it has been frozen a while or something. Did they get their serving right after you made it?

They're stubborn. I bet that's it. It wasn't quite the right texture for them.
For your next step I think we have to be ultra crafty. Keep making your soup the way you are and make a second batch that's chunkier. Then try putting a tiny, tiny bit of chunky stuff in with the regular and mix it up really well. We need to start working on outsmarting them because they're winning right now.

Im really starting to worry about Rena. I want to feed her a meal of kibble every day to try to put some weight on her. I will remove the other 2 so they dont get any kibble. I think Rena has adrenal disease. Could that be why shes so bony and thin.

I am going to consult with the other mentors and get their opinion on the situation. Do you have a current photo of Rena?
