I would suggest getting a notebook and writing down everything they eat including: *type of meat *how it's prepared (size of chunks, coated in soup, etc.) *how much they ate *what they refused to eat
In addition to that I would make notes about poop, playfulness, any changes in behavior, changes in environment, ANYTHING that could be relevant to why we're not making progress.
We need to make progress and I have to be able to see at a glance what is going on in your house. Since I'm not there, you have to be my eyes.
And to remind you... ferrets like privacy and quiet when they eat. That's why most of us provide a box or other feeding den for them to eat in. For my two ferrets I have seven boxes available for them to stash their food and hideout and eat. Taking that into consideration, you may want to consider having one box per ferret.
Another thing to consider is quiet. It sounds like your ferrets are kept in a high traffic area. Maybe mealtimes need to be in a quiet room with their feeding dens and a couple of hours to play, work up an appetite, eat and then take a nap. Every morning I wake up, prepare the ferrets' food and fresh water, then go downstairs to clean litter boxes and such and play with them. They usually play pretty hard for about an hour and then they go to their dens and ask for their food. By that time their meat is close to room temperature and I hand feed a couple of pieces to each of them. Fierra always runs off to one of the dens to eat. Katrinka sometimes wants to eat on my lap, other times right next to me and other times she wants to go in a den. After that I load up their dens with the rest of their food so they can eat whenever they want. Then it's nap time for the ferts.
These are the kind of details I need from you. I need you to paint me a picture of what life is like in your house. Okay?

They will eat everything for some meals but sometimes they will leave the chunks and sometimes they will leave soup and chunks. They usually eat it all in the morning maybe because I add fish oil or maybe because they went all night without food.

I have been adding fish oil to every meal (is it ok to do that?) and they have been eating most of their food. Sometimes they will just not eat some chunks.

As long as you're not giving them so much that they're getting diarrhea, that's fine. I have been giving one capsule per day split between my two ferrets and two cats during the winter to help with dry skin.
How is your journal? Can you type up what you've got for the week?

The only things that ever changes is when they have floor time and I dont think that effects how much they eat. They have been eating the same amount every day. I have also tried feeding them when they are all by themselves during floor time and they eat just as much as they eat when they are in their cage.

Can you please give me a rundown of what, how much, when, where you feed them? I want to be able to see all that information in one post.

Every day around 8 am they get their first meal. I dont know how many oz it is. Around 3 pm they get their second meal. Around 8pm they get their 3rd meal. I add fish oil to all of those and I add taurine to the first and third meal. They get floor time either between their first and second meal or between their seond and third meal. They eat more after floor time. I feed them the same thing every time. They get fed 2 meals in their cage and 1 meal in the bedroom by themselves at the end of floor time.

And what is "the same thing" that you're feeding them right now?

They have all been eating a good amount and have all gained a little weight. Rena has become a little fatty. She is now 39 oz. Risa is 34.5oz and Rikku is 46 oz. They have been eating most of the chunks.
