My friend from KCMO used me and my dog, Leia, as guinea pigs for her brandy new fancy camera when she came to visit me by Boston two weeks ago. She basically followed Leia around after she finally sat still long enough after playing fetch. This is the result: www.flickr.com/photos/23903949@N07/4963049778/in/photostream/

So I used to foster dogs for Braveheart Pit Bull Rescue in Lakeville, MA and I sent her a few pictures of Leia. She's sending them on to the rest of the rescue group because her smile is just too much! I also sent her the ones of Lulabelle on her head and she said they were too hysterical. Leia is SUCH a happy dog - I am going to be so heartbroken when she passes! She is 5 now and I never want her to leave! I've never had such a clown of a dog, my others didn't have half the personality she does. Bully breeds from now on - I just love those big cow heads

Your dog has such a funny smile when she looks directly at the camera! I love it! She is beautiful, and you are your boyfriend (I assume?) are good looking too. The pictures are great!

My boyfriend is a grump is what he is. No fun! To be fair, we didn't realize we would be in the pictures. My friend said she was practicing with her brand new camera and lens on Leia, not with all of us so I figured she'd crop us out somehow. Some of them came out really good though =) I wish the ferrets were fatter so they were big enough to wear harnesses. So far they are too small for all the ones in the stores, even the "adjustable" ones they slip out of. I'd love to take pictures of all of us, and someday I'd like to have a little parade with Leia leading the way and all 5 ferrets leading behind her. She is mother duck and they are her ducklings. She grooms them when they sit still, they crawl on her, climb inside her ears, and of course they never listen to her. I was watching a National Geographic the other day with baby lemurs and their moms... they were pulling and pushing on their moms and generally being obnoxious babies... reminded me so much of Leia and "her babies"! When my friend comes back from Kansas City to visit again, she said she will be the photographer for this little adventure. I'm sure it will be utter chaos, but we'll see how it goes!
