My cat recently passed due to cancer and while I'm not ready to replace him just yet I am beginning to research into aspects of care I'd like to change with my next cat. The big one is a whole prey diet. The fuzzbutts already eat whole prey and the dog eats raw but my last cat was mostly a kibble kitty.
I was wondering if anyone knew a forum similar to this one but specifically for cats that they would recommend.

I found that Catster was a good one for raw/whole prey fed cats. The easiest to switch, obviously, is a kitten. Older cats will once in a while take to it immediately, but not often! Here's the link for Catster: www.catster.com/forums/Raw_Food_Diet

Thanks I couldn't bring myself to type my post from the perspective of my cat (from beyond the grave? ) as seems to be the norm on that site but it does have very helpful information.

"I was wondering if anyone knew a forum similar to this one but specifically for cats that they would recommend." I can look for them if you like, a little web search, not the best help but I will only use one page and tell me when to stop. Edit: you know what, that sounds like a grate idea for a "home project" I'll call it.

Yeah, I was never comfortable doing that either, so I never did No one had a problem with it, and all questions were answered normally
