The danish Barf center have a new product to dogs. They claim it is perfect to ferret also, I have my doubt. It is dryed meat that should be mixed with water. Ingrediens Turkey, cow tripe', cow meat-lung, liver and some vitamin and minerals Analysis: Protein: 86% Fat: 8,39% Water: 4% Ash: 0,78% Vitamin/mineral: 0,83% Shouldn´t it contain taurine like heart and more protein sources. And where are the bones What do you think

This is not a good balanced diet for any creature, especially ferrets and cats. I know that it has been questioned, do ferrets need taurine like cats but I would just as soon not find out the hard way. They`re finding that even dogs need taurine for a healthy diet. Now you would get some taurine from the blood from the meat (all meat carries taurine, but it will the drying process damage this, my understanding is yes) and that may be included in vit and minerals dept. but....no bone No, I wouldn`t waste my money unless...I was using it as a treat. I, personally wouldn`t use it. ciao

As you've already mentioned, we don't know if the mix contains bone. Wdo'nt know what the taurine content is.
For ferrets, fat content should be around 25-30 %. SO based on fat content alone, this mix is too low in fat for ferrets. Ferrets derive most of their energy from animal fats.
