Both critters were the best. Hammie was a gentle old fat hamster that liked to do nothing but sleep or run on his wheel. He died in my hands after coming home from work. I will miss this little one.
Tiger was Regits best friend after her mother passed away. She was a little bossy, but regit was too fast! Regit is tiger spelled backwards. Her death was unnecessary. Jack Jack learned to scale over my much shorter, length wise board and get lose into my rodent room. While I was working, He got into the guinea pig cages and took his mouse hunting skills against tiger. Her skull was crushed, neck was possible broken, and yet she was still living. I had to put her down myself to make sure she would not suffer anymore. She is now burred by the dead cat I found away from the other guinea pigs, but not by soul. Regit seems happy to be by herself, but I know it won't be for long.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. Hammie was able to go peacefully in the hands of someone who loved him. And as for Tiger, she is now at rest as well, with no more pain. That would have been difficult.

Yeah. I did not think that jack jack would hurt the critters but It had been an illusion since they have not been in that part of the room in years. He went from critter tasting to critter gnawing since than!

Oh gosh! I'm so sorry! That must have been very difficult, but they are in peace now.
