How is every one managing their colonies? Mine is just starting, but I would like to start right now since I just had my first litter. What are your techniques or methods?
I guess I'm just looking for different ideas. Thanks =).

My mouse colony I keep in 10 gallon tanks, I keep 2 females per tank and I rotate males, I don't breed back to back generally unless on accident or a female who is being culled after that litter, I give a week to ten day break after each litter. I wean at 3 or 4 weeks, depending on how many mice I need and I feed off pinks or fuzzies if there are over 10 per litter so the rest grow larger and the ferrets get a variety that way as well. I breed females at 3 months old and replace them yearly unless there's an issue before that.
