welcome i'm just guessing, since i have mice, and they're both rodents, so it makes sense that it would do things the same. for my first litter i left the male in with the girl. she didn't kill her litter, which i was surprised at, because i heard that they did that sometimes. but not with me.

I can't load the pic just yet =/. Technical issues. But she is getting even bigger! Now I can see movement in her belly when she is laying on her stomach or hunched over!!

Ok so I was just telling some one I felt like she might be in labor..... Well she took over the igloo and started attacking the male shortly after, I took him out, and looked in her igloo. She had a baby! She's on number four right. She's a good momma, cleaning everything up. The only thing I'm worried about is she is leaving babies in two corners, although she is switching between the corners, and staying strictly in that area, I'm afraid she will abandom them =/. Do you think it's just because she's in labor?

She has had ten, and I'm not sure if she's done yet! She seems to be doing ok, I'm just so scared of a horror story I suppose.

i was freaking out like that with my first mouse babies, but they were born in the night. but i had a feeling that they would be there. i got nine babies the first time, and now i have about 11, probably more.
as along as the mom is caring for both piles of babies then just leave it as it is. but if you see her not, try moving them into her other babies pile. you could also just move them into together right now.

An update.... She has them all in one pile for most of the time. They all have milk bands =). She had a total of twelve! One I took for fert food. She is doing so good. She lets me hold them and when I give them back she just cleans them up and feeds them. Im so excited.
