Ok I took the ferrets camping to a weekend swap right?
I got some button quail. Will the eggs and the birds be good food for them?
I also got some gerbils. Did I read somewhere that someone raises gerbils for theirs? Do they like them?
Lastly I got a male american fuzzy lop and a "lionhead" doe (written that way because she looks like a cross between a netherland dwarf, an english angora and a jersey woolly). I do plan to cross them when she is old enough, I would have to clip the rabbits down or remove the skin to offer it huh? The buck's hair averages 3 inches and the girl's is currently about 1.5 inches but she is only 8 weeks old.
Thanks for any info on these!

I need to get my camera out of the bag I forgot on my trip lol! I have made a nice bop proof or at least safe cage for my button quail, I gave them some silk vines to hide in. I need to get pics to show them off. They are kinda cute. I read it takes 10 of their eggs to make the equivalent of one chicken egg That's a lot of eggs! I also read they make awesome deviled eggs The gerbils are in an ok setup though I will need bigger and better when they start breeding. I plan to do a colony of maybe 3 pairs? Not sure. My mice are doing ok, no babies yet but they were only with the male a couple days before I took my trip this weekend. Would be a few more weeks before I see babies if I am going to. Well I can tell what books you've been reading lately (or movie's you've been seeing.) Great pics and yes gerbils take a while to get to produce. I've had my pair since late March and I have yet to see a litter from them.
