I am working on switching my 2 middle aged babies and am wondering about the treats and vitamins that came with them, if it is good for them or should I look into getting something else as a snack till they are switched over to a complete raw diet.
I have Marshal Farms Kibble, a bag of premium diet and 2 bags of the senior. (the couple I got them from where going to switch them to the senior) The treats are MF Bandits treats, raison, chicken and bacon flavored, and some n-bone ferret chew treats chicken flavored ( they LOVE those) I don't care much for the ingredients so was hoping there is something else out there I can give them during the change.
I also have 2 types of vitamins, furovite and ferrovite, is one better then the other, they seem to like both really well. Are they good for them.
Lilo the female seems really small to me and Stitch the male seems really lazy, laying down in the middle of the floor like he is a dog. It's cute but it seems he should have more energy still. He almost seems to be moping around while she sleeps.
I will be taking them to the vet to get them a checkup in about 2 weeks. In the meantime I am gathering as much info as I can to change their diet. Lilo won't touch chicken, and Stitch will eat tiny pieces dipped in ferrovite, no ferrovite, no chicken, he turns his head away and stands there snubbing me. (It's so cute though!) She just squirms and tries to run away.
Anyway, done rambling and appreciate any feedback I can get.
