I've tried dipping their noses in raw egg they seemed rather disgusted by it lol, and i have tried cooked egg / cooked chicken. Still trying however. As well as waiting for a mentor to message me. I dont know what else i can try for them to be semi interested in.. i know it takes time and im willing to take time with it too.

Do you feed them a soup of any kind? If so- then that's your starting point. Most people who don't raw feed use kibble in the soup. Slowly decrease the amount of kibble til it's gone, then add pureed raw, a wee bit at a time, while decreasing the cooked portion. If you don't give a soup yet, then puree some chicken meat(8oz), a couple chicken hearts, liver, a tsp eggshell. Offer that. If they won't touch it(likely), dab it on their noses so they have to lick it off. The idea is to get them tasting it frequently, so they get used to it.

Sherrylynne's recipe for soupy is the same thing that I use for starting my little ones. At first I make it a game. Catch the fert, dab it's nose or try and get them to lick it off my finger. Release and try again in a few minutes. Often the first lick or two result in much gagging and spitting and a little ferret looking at me accusingly. I try and explain to them that I'm not poisoning them and usually by the end of the day or a few days of being introduced to the new food they start to lick it up willingly and are ready to move to the next stage of eating it off a spoon. Patience is the biggest key here and not trying so many methods that your little one gets confused and refuse to eat anything. Good luck, keep us posted . You can continue to post your questions and updates here and we will try and help you get your little one started. Hopefully, we will have some openings soon in the mentoring program soon. ciao
